Glass Clear PVC Tarpaulins (310GSM)

Our clear PVC tarpaulins are excellent for projects where maximum light penetration is required. Made from waterproof vinyl, these tarpaulins are widely used as side curtains on market stalls, or as a cover over goods during bad weather. Clear PVC tarpaulins can be used to work underneath in the garden or during building work as they do not block out light while keeping the working area dry.Also particularly popular as a waterproof cover for animal enclosures such as rabbit hutches, kennels and poultry houses, especially during bird flu outbreaks. These even work well as a water slide!

With the exception of the 1.1m x 25m roll, each tarpaulin comes with a white PVC reinforced hem, with 12mm aluminum eyelets at 50cm intervals. As our glass clear PVC tarps are an unsupported PVC without any base layer they do not have the same tensile strength as tarps with a similar weight. As a result we do not recommend the eyelets on these tarps to be put under strain, tension or fixed directly to hooks. If using the eyelets we suggest elasticated bungee cord rather than rope.

These tarpaulins are tightly flat packed so can be rigid and there may be some creases, please exercise caution when unwrapping your tarpaulin. Any wrinkles will flatten out over time, especially when exposed to the sun and heat. However if a quick fix is required you can use a hair dryer on a low heat setting, just make sure it is not too close or too hot otherwise it could melt the vinyl.

For customers interested in the small 1.2m x 2m size there will be a seam and there are a total of 4 eyelets across the 1.2m width.
